Republican Solutions

A Safer, Stronger, More Affordable New Jersey

A More Affordable New Jersey

  • Fully fund all school districts, requiring property tax cuts in-line with increased state aid. The plan cuts property taxes for the average resident by $800 immediately.

  • Cut income taxes by simplifying brackets and adjusting for inflation. A joint filer making $110,000 would save $1,600 per year while a single filer making $70,000 would see $1,000 in savings.

Unleash New Jersey’s Economic Potential

  • Untangle New Jersey’s web of regulations allowing business to thrive and expand.

  • Cut the corporation business tax to 2.5% from 11.5% for businesses with less than $100,000 in revenue immediately and within three years for businesses with over $100,000 in revenue.

A Safer Garden State

  • End the revolving door for criminals, created under bail reform.

  • Work with local law enforcement to increase patrols and keep our communities safe.

  • Require legislative oversight of Attorney General directives before they take effect, and include law- enforcement in discussions about reforms.

Sustainable Energy Everyone Can Afford

  • Prevent Trenton bureaucrats from enacting a radical energy policy that bans natural gas as an energy source and gas powered cars in the next 12 years.

  • Enact an all-of-the-above approach to powering our state through a combination of clean natural-gas, nuclear and renewable energy options that don’t break the bank of New Jersey residents or businesses.

Restore Parents Rights

  • Pass a "Parents Bill of Right’s" to stop government from getting between parents and their children, allowing them to make decisions about their kid’s education and healthcare.

Quality Education for All Students

  • Expand charter school offerings in failing school districts.

  • Enact a robust voucher system, allowing parents to send their children to the school of their choice whether private, public or alternative.

  • Fully fund our public schools to ensure the burden of the cost of education does not empty the wallet of property taxpayers while providing quality education for students.

Transparency in Government

  • Remove roadblocks for residents to acquire government documents under OPRA, allowing for greater transparency.

  • Require expanded access to public meetings at all levels of government to ensure the ability for public participation and comment.
